About

Born in Sant’Orsola Terme (Trentino, Italy) in July 1998. Bachelor’s in Contemporary Art and Design at the Free University of Bolzano, ongoing Master’s in Art Research and Media Philosophy at Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe. My multidisciplinary practice bridges theory and visual arts, with a foundation in curation and artistic research developed through experiences across Europe and the United States. Having lived in Chicago, Bolzano, and Karlsruhe, I then moved to Girona in early 2023. Currently operating between Catalunya and Trentino-Südtirol.

At present, my work focuses on regenerative practices, particularly in the realms of soil restoration, driven by a commitment to fostering ecological balance and sustainability. I am seeking to integrate artistic inquiry with environmental care, contributing to community-centered solutions, with aspirations to further expand my research in Catalunya.

Chiara’s artistic practice unfolds in two interwoven phases that coexist and inform one another: one exploring void and inner dormancy; the other luminous, celebrating clarity and growth. Together, they form a dynamic dialogue, offering complementary perspectives:

In one phase, her work delves into themes of loss, the landscapes of grief, ego-driven impulses, accumulation and obsession. Central to this exploration is the act of listing—a method she employs to confront and process sudden absences. Her lists transcend mere enumeration, becoming open-ended litanies that resist closure, in tedious redundancy. Through this process, she examines the paradoxes of repetition: how revisiting and reiterating can simultaneously bind and liberate. This phase is characterized by cycles of recurrence that are punctuated by interludes where renewal begins to take root. These brief breaks in the flow, that she actively searches amidst continuity, offer spaces for wonder and surprise.

In the other, more recent phase, Chiara’s focus shifts toward regeneration and release. This stage embodies a journey of dissipation, emphasizing acceptance as she moves beyond the confines of dormancy: finding soothing stillness beyond stasis. Lists here gently fade away, creating spaces of wonder and healing in expansion. Her recent interest in regenerative agriculture reflects a commitment to grounding her artistic work in environmental care, acknowledging the healing power of returning to the roots. This phase also emphasizes community healing. Her installations and projects start becoming communal sanctuaries where individual and collective growth intertwine, cultivating resilience and hope.
