In an era increasingly saturated with visual imagery that permeates every medium, the significance of words often recedes into the background. As words have woven themselves into the fabric of our daily lives, they have begun to deconstruct our collective unconscious, infusing symbolic meanings into various concepts. This phenomenon is particularly evident within social networks, where the association of a post with a specific individual profoundly influences its content. The identity of the speaker becomes a crucial element in understanding the message being conveyed.
This work serves as a critical examination of content manipulation. We sourced the footage using an audio recorder, immersing ourselves in the speaker's words through repeated listening. This process of repetition illuminated new dimensions within the language, leading us to the realization that we possessed the agency to reshape the narrative entirely. What began as a critique of the speaker's original message evolved into a nuanced exploration of the interplay between content, written language, and expressive form.
