Short fiction film
2018
This short film is centered on the multifaceted beliefs surrounding modern-day witches, exploring their place in contemporary society. It examines how age-old stereotypes intersect with modern interpretations of witchcraft.

Shot on location in the wooded landscapes of River Forest, Illinois, and the bustling streets of downtown Chicago, the film juxtaposes the mystical and the urban. This dynamic contrast serves as a metaphor for the evolving identity of witches in today's world—caught between tradition and innovation, solitude and community, magic and technology.

The project culminated in a screening at Columbia College Chicago in December 2018. Through this film, we aimed to challenge preconceived notions and spark dialogue about the ways in which ancient practices continue to resonate in our modern lives.

We are committed to ethical practices, no animals were harmed or mistreated during the making of this short film.
